I have been working on several quilt tops recently. Here are a few pictures of what I have been up to. This pattern is a rail fence and I have decided to make the rail 3 1/2" x 1 1/2". What was I thinking when I started this. Crazy I know but it is getting done.
And here is another project I have started. It is a 15 1/2" square which makes into this beautiful creation.
And after all of that I sit down in my recliner and start working on these. They are English Paper Pieced or EPP for short. This one is for my daughter whenever I manage to get it finished. This one is going to take a while.
So that is what I have been up to.

Well it has been a while since I posted anything on the blog. I have been very busy starting a lot of UFO's....LOL!!!! But here is my latest finish for my second cousins new addition.
Here is a close up of the block.
She is an Ohio State Fan. So the fabric is Ohio State. It turned out very well I think.

After about 28 years I finally got a picture of the very first quilt I ever made. I gave it to my mother-in-law and hadn't seen it in years. But here it is in all it's glory. A large Bow-Tie, made from double-knit that I had inherited from my grandmother, Rosy Lee Caudill Trusty.
My mother-in-law like it so I gave it to her. It is a one of a kind and is about full-sized.

Been busy here with the Holidays. But finally took the time to finish this quilt top. I thought I would never get the top to completion but today, Jan 1, 2018 it is finished. Now to quilt it. Not sure exactly how I want to quilt it as of yet. Thinking on that one. I will hand quilt this one, and not machine quilt it.
It is massive. The measurements are 120" x 136". Big enough to fit my king size bed with comfort. That is what the hubby wanted. It is made up of 42 - 12 1/2" grandmother's fan blocks and 1168 squares cut at 3 1/2". Will get quilted this year but not sure when as so many other's are taking a priority.
